LCCMR recommends funding state park and trail acquisition at $2.2 million for fiscal year 2010

On Oct. 14, 2009 after more than 16 hours of deliberation, the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR) reached agreement on $26 million in projects funded by receipts from the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has submitted a number of bonding requests to the Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB) for their consideration as a part of the 2010 capital budget, or bonding bill. The DNR's request for state parks and trails is $70 million.
