Northeast Regional Workshop
Overview
This day-long regional workshop will offer the opportunity for friends group members to network with and learn from each other. Discuss topics like membership, outreach, collaboration, project planning, and resources. Attendees will hear presentations, participate in guided discussion, and contribute feedback and ideas.
A light breakfast and lunch will be served. Drinking water and coffee will be available.

Registration
**Bring your group’s brochures, flyers, newsletters, SWAG, posters, or any other materials that you’d like to share with other workshop attendees. Each friends group attending will have a spot at a table to display their materials and share more about their group before the first session.

The meeting space and restroom facilities are handicapped accessible.
Meeting Space
The River Inn Interpretive Center provides the indoor gathering space for this event. Participants will be situated at picnic tables. Weather permitting, we may sit outside for lunch.
Park Entrance
Each vehicle entering the state park is required to have a state park daily or annual pass. Daily passes can be purchased at the park entrance for $7. Annual permits can be purchased at the park entrance or online for $35.
Parking
There is a parking lot near the interpretive center. Don’t forget to carpool!
What to Bring
- If you chose the “pay later” option, bring a check or cash to pay for registration
- Notetaking implements (paper, pen)
- Money for a state park permit—if you don’t already have one
- For the hike, bring a water bottle, snack, clothing appropriate for the weather, etc.
