Eco Grants

Overview

There are three grant opportunities from the Captain Planet Foundation. EcoSolution grants support youth-led environmental projects. EcoTech grants support projects that use technology as part of an environmental solution. EcoStem grants are activity kits focused on environmental projects.

Application & Review Process

Deadline: January 15 & July 15

Interested groups should visit the website and set up an account to access the application. Projects are evaluated on a number of criteria, such as authentic inclusion of youth as leaders.

Funding Amount

$500-$2,500 • In-kind

Each grant opportunity has its own funding amounts, including the EcoStem program granting activity kits rather than financial resources. A match is not required, but preference is given to projects that have secured a financial or in-kind match.

While these grants are geared towards supporting students and schools, park and trail projects may qualify.
