Captain Planet Foundation

Eco Grants

(12/22/2020) Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and widespread schools closures, these grants are currently on hold and there are no open grant rounds. Check their website to see if the grants are available again.


There are three grant opportunities from the Captain Planet Foundation. EcoSolution grants support youth-led environmental projects. EcoTech grants support projects that use technology as part of an environmental solution. EcoStem grants are activity kits focused on environmental projects.

Application & Review Process

Deadline: N/A

Interested groups should visit the website and set up an account to access the application. Projects are evaluated on a number of criteria, such as authentic inclusion of youth as leaders.

Funding Amount

$500-$2,500 • In-kind

Each grant opportunity has its own funding amounts, including the EcoStem program granting activity kits rather than financial resources. A match is not required, but preference is given to projects that have secured a financial or in-kind match.
