Overseeing Parks & Trails Council's land projects for the public's use and benefit.

Members

Committee members are elected by the board of directors with seven voting members and several non-voting members. Each land acquisition project has a project manager.

Assess Projects

The Land Committee oversees the process of assessing each land project from start to finish. The committee is guided by P&TC’s Strategic Land Acquisition Plan that sets forth key criteria that each project must meet, including

  • Provide high quality outdoor recreation, or
  • Preserve natural diversity, or
  • Enhance connectivity
