Two women on a tandem bicycle

From Friends of the Jackson County Trails

On May 16th, 2019, Friends of the Jackson County Trails hosted the annual Bike to Work Day event at Ezekiel’s Wheel Bike Shop.

Several folks stopped down and rode a new Bike Share System bike for the City of Jackson, rode a tandem bike, and learned about the Off-Road Trail project. People signed up for door prizes and enjoyed snacks an beverages, all in celebration of Bike to Work Day and National Bike month.

We would like to thank those who attended our event and the local businesses that provided lunch, beverages, and free giveaways. They include: Coffee Nest, Dairy Queen, Subway, Anytime Fitness, Community Wellness Partners, Des Moines Valley Health and Human Services Child and Teen Check Up Program, and Ezekiel’s Wheel Bike Shop.

The Friends of the Jackson County Trails Committee thanks all who came over to the Bike to Work Day event! See everyone at next year’s event
