Minnesota Environmental Fund

Minnesota Environmental Fund offers employees an easy way to donate through payroll giving. Donations support a group of nonprofits working to improve and protect the Minnesota’s environment, including Parks & Trails Council. Details about this Fund and the other environmental nonprofits can be found at www.mnenvirofund.org.

If your employer does not provide an opportunity to give to MEF, ask the person in charge of workplace giving to include it.

Combined Federal Campaign Fund

Parks & Trails Council is one of the approved nonprofits that federal employees can choose to support through the Combined Federal Campaign.

Parks & Trails Council’s CFC code is: 67614
Parks & Trails Councils’s EIN is:  41-1450303

The Combined Federal Campaign is workplace giving program for federal employees that has been around for four decades. Each year, tens of thousands of charities apply to participate. Only those that meet strict standards of eligibility are admitted.

Federal employees can elect to pledge a specific amount to be withheld regularly from their pay beginning in January and continuing through December or give one-time gifts. The payroll deduction method has many advantages.

It is efficient: Workplace giving campaigns are the most cost-effective method to raise funds for charity, and most of what is collected from federal donors reaches the designated groups.

It is also easy: Donors find workplace giving a simple, convenient way to support the charities they care about.
