Cyri Van Hecke is an attorney at Faegre, Drinker, Biddle & Reath LLP. She focuses her legal practice in the areas of real estate and construction litigation. She represents private, public, and nonprofit entities in a variety of complex commercial real estate and construction matters. Cyri also has experience with the transactional side of commercial real estate and lending deals, including real estate acquisition, leasing, construction, development, and financing matters.
Cyri views the opportunity to serve on the board at Parks & Trails Council of Minnesota as a good way to give back to her community and share the knowledge and skills she has gained through her law practice. She is originally from Duluth and spent her childhood exploring the state parks in northern Minnesota. Cyri is especially passionate about Minnesota’s diverse native flora. Cyri’s mother spent many hours teaching her how to identify Minnesota’s flowers and trees. She also spent every spring planting trees with her dad. She now enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Eric, and their children. Cyri has served on P&TC’s Land Acquisition Committee since 2017.
