Since 2008 the Friends of Anderson Park has sought to preserve the natural beauty and primitive nature of the park and to assist with the planning and development of programs and activities, such as creating a nature play area for children, helping build a large picnic pavilion, planting native rain gardens, and seeking support for the acquisition and development of three additional pieces of land.
We gratefully accept donations of any amount. All contributions are used for activities that support our mission. Some examples include a bike rack, interpretive signs, park benches, covered barbeque grills, 8 ft. picnic tables, and memorial trees.
There are some opportunities for a plaque recognition and memorial trees for donations greater than $250. If you'd like to be contacted about these options, please indicate your interest in the contribution notes.
Note: your contribution is fully tax-deductible and will show up on your statement as “Parks & Trails Council of Minnesota.”
If you'd like to make this contribution in honor or memorial of someone, please share that in the contribution note field.
