Webinar Description

Securing grant funding for your project is only the first step of many – after the funds become available, you still have to make sure to order the right supplies, monitor your progress on project milestones, and marshal the services of enough volunteers to staff information tables, pull invasive weeds, and plant native flowers.

If you’re interested in applying for a P&TC Friends Group grant in 2024, or even if you’re just curious about what it takes get a grant-based project over the finish line, then this webinar is for you! You’ll hear directly from the Friends Group leaders who participated in this year’s grant round, sharing their tips and experiences. Everyone is welcome – join us to talk about coming up with ideas, sourcing project supplies, sticking to a budget, and what to do when things don’t go as planned.

Webinar highlights:

  • An overview of adjustments to the grant program in 2024
  • A panel discussion with three 2023 grant recipients
  • An extended Q&A session to address any lingering questions
