Join us for a day of fall fun at the 14th Annual Fall Pumpkin Festival at Lake Shetek State Park’s Zuya Group Center on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 1 – 3:30 p.m. Come on out and jump in the biggest leaf pile you’ve ever seen! There will be face painting, pumpkin decorating, activities and prizes to be had, along with s’mores by the campfire and refreshments. Don’t forget to take your fall family picture at the park.

The Fall Pumpkin Festival is sponsored by the Friends of Lake Shetek State Park and the Currie Town and Country Boosters. It is free to the public; however, state park vehicle permits are required to enter the park. Daily permits are $7 per vehicle or $35 for an annual permit and can be purchased at the office.

Lake Shetek State Park is located 14 miles northeast of Slayton or 13 miles south of Tracy.  Access to the park is by County Road 38, north of Currie. For more information or to volunteer at the event, contact the park directly at (507) 763-3256 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. daily.
