Overview

Monarch Watch is a nonprofit educational outreach program based at the University of Kansas. Their milkweed distribution program is focused on providing milkweed plants for qualifying schools and nonprofits.

Application & Review Process

Application opens: October 1, 2023

Applicants should read the guidelines on the Monarch Watch website and then apply via the linked application.

Number of plants available:

A typical award includes a free flat of 32 milkweed plugs. Larger requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Native habitat restoration taking place within the Monarch Milkweed Corridor, Midwest included.
