Proposed Project Overview

Develop one mile of new trail near Dundas and rehabilitating three miles of trail between Dundas and Northfield, Minn. Half the funding for this project was secured in 2018.

The Mill Towns State Trail is a partially completed trail that will ultimately stretch of 25 miles, connecting Northfield, Faribault and Cannon Falls, while also providing a link between two other long-distance trails. This project builds on the momentum established recently with trail development near Lake Byllesby and acquisitions near Dundas.
