Erecting deer exclosure fence

$4,416 grant

$755 local cash match

5 acres protected

In an effort to support forest restoration, Friends of Lake Bemidji State Park erected a deer exclosure fence around 5 acres of forest. This fence will keep deer out and protect the young trees within, giving the young trees the time they need to develop and withstand deer browse in the future.
