Theater In the Park Video
The Friends of Whitewater recently added the Theater in the Park performance recording to their webpage. It is a powerful story about the history of the Whitewater Valley and the changing relationship between humans and the land over the past 200 years. The friends group raised the money for this theater project ($15,000).
Volunteer Appreciation Dinner
The friends also hosted the annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner at the park last Sunday. At the dinner, park staff recognized members of the Friends of Whitewater for their outstanding service to the park during the Centennial year in 2019 and awarded them each a framed certificate of recognition and a huge jar of lifesavers, since they were lifesavers who really made the Centennial an amazing year!
