House Legislative committee hears our case for state trail rehab

The Minnesota Legislature is in session and while the focus remains on passing a budget, a small capital investment (bonding) bill may be passed as well. We are working with Sen. Carrie Ruud (R-Breezy Point) and Rep. Leon Lillie (DFL–North St. Paul) to author bonding bills for $4.8 million to rehabilitate state trails. Those bills are based on our State of the Trails report, which used data collected by our Research Bike to identify rehabilitation needs across the state trail system.

On Tuesday, our staff presented at the House Capital Investment Committee to share our State of the Trails report.
